Oct 03 2013 · Hi My boiler is not turning on. I changed the expansion tank because it was full of water ( I did sound test). I also changed the circulator pump because it was starting to leak from the impeller area. I replaced it with a Taco 007 f5. I filled and bleed the boiler and now there's a leak at the air vent. Please see pics. Thank you for help.
Sep 03 2019 · There is a bicycle tyre (schraeder) valve on the top of the vessel. Undo the black plastic cap and depress the plunger to let a tiny bit of air/nitrogen out of the valve (there's a bag full of gas and this is the test point). If air comes out that's good. If any water at all comes out expansion vessel is finito. Call a G3 fitter to replace it.
